Waterworks Cider and Beer Garden

Waterworks Cider & Beer Garden. In previous years, the beer garden was run by Parks on Tap and located at Fairmount Waterworks adjacent to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Opening May 2023, Waterworks Cider & Beer Garden will have new ownership, but will remain in the same location. The new owner, Peg Botto, owner of the Cosmic Café located just a few hundred yards from the beer garden, plans to make this year one to remember! Waterworks Cider & Beer Garden has partnered with Freecon Farms and Wyndridge Farm to bring the freshest cider beers locally grown to the Philadelphia area.

Run Locations

The Fishtown Beer Runners meet every Thursday at 7pm at three different starting locations throughout the city:
• Palmer Park in Fishtown
• City Hall Courtyard at City Hall (meet at Octavius Catto statue on South Side if courtyard is closed)
• 7th & Bainbridge in South Philly

Weather Policy
We are an all-weather running club, however, use your own judgement regarding running in inclement weather. Summer thunderstorms usually come and go quickly, so check the weather radar for the most up-to-date forecast. Safety is paramount and you should not run during lightning storms. Shelter-in-place if caught during a lightning storm and/or consider alternative options for getting to the bar. Remember, no questions asked.
